Petroleum coke (Pet Coke) is highly stable solid fuel and is not considered hazardous. Is used as a substitute for coal. Since pet coke has a higher heat content tan coal, low quantity of petcoke is required to generate the heat neccessary to maintain the industrial procees. It can be used as a substitute for coal in power plants and cement kilns.
It's used to power highway vehicles and nonroad engines and equipment. Diesel is the predominant fuel used for shipping goods and moving freight across the country and around the world.
